Our annual Greek Evening takes place on Saturday 26 October at 7.30 pm in the Hall of St Mary’s Church, Regent Walk, Aberdeen.
There will be Greek food, wine and soft drinks provided, and a raffle for which donations would be very welcome. We will also have a “silent auction” for a photo canvas of Poros (see the other post), kindly donated by Bill Roseburgh. Information will be available about our programme for the coming year, including the Joint Film Club.
Those who attended last year’s event will recall being entertained by an international group of musicians called “The Melting Pot”, and we are delighted that they will be returning this year with an even greater variety of music and songs. We will also have a guest Polish musician, Ewa Monica Bartmann, playing some Hadzidakis music on the viola.
Admission is free for members renewing their membership (Ordinary £15; Student £5). There will be a charge of £5 for non-members (£3 for children), although we hope new members will join us.
